Outline of the Job

Admin support person who will work across both the print and digital publication. Exceptionally good English and grammar: support the Editor administratively answer and follow up on emails, will manage the events diary and print calendar. Will research content, also proof-read documents. Would be good if they can use WordPress content management but training will be given. Job would suit someone with strong Microsoft office who wants to move into Journalism or someone who enjoys PA work and wants to work in a creative environment. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and strong PowerPoint.
Support News Desk as stories come in: reply to emails log emails in diary. Basic invoicing to external suppliers and lead generation. Do some research to support sales
Communicate with internal and external contacts about queries and ongoing activities; Admin support for events with internal and external contacts.

Key Skills

Strong grammar and English both written and oral. Basic Admin skills. Must be able to use Microsoft Office good excel and PowerPoint Desirable Mailchimp: basic admin
