Apprenticeships are reducing risk for new managers

Manager training might seem like a no-brainer, yet many companies still don’t invest in leadership and management training. And the results are scary: 50% of new managers fail in their first year because they are unprepared and untrained.

ESP designed, jointly with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the Operations Management Apprenticeship to help managers develop the core management skills that are required to succeed in more senior positions.

The course covers key topics such as recruiting talent, managing and developing a high performing team, project management, information management and much more. You can see what’s covered here.

Employers can also benefit in making use of the Apprenticeship Levy to fund this course for existing and for new employees.

Our new group of learners start 24th June 2022.

If you’re employed, and this sounds like something that you or your business could benefit from, please get in touch with the ESP training team by emailing enquiries@esp-ac.uk or calling 01233 632 111 who will guide you and help you enroll.
